We worked with Sea Pointe on converting a bonus living room into a home office/study and updating doors and windows throughout our house. We are absolutely thrilled with how the project turned out! Working with Sea Pointe was night and day from our prior remodeling experiences with hands off contractors.
Everyone we worked with from Sea Pointe was fantastic, from design, to project management, and construction. Natalie and Aaron on the design side were a pleasure to work with and helped us figure out how to bring our vision to life every step of the way. They were creative and patient with us as the scope of our project changed multiple times during the planning phases.
Once the design was completed, they seamlessly handed the project off to our Project Manager, Dane Shimp. Dane and his team of Antonio, Eddie, and Cristain were everything you could hope for in a construction remodeling team. They were hard working, professional, friendly, and clean. The construction work was well scheduled and planned in phases to contain the work and limit the disruption to our use of the remaining areas of the house. All unexpected occurrences were navigated in a thoughtful manner with various options presented and clear communication.
One thing that really struck was that they regularly demonstrated that they truly cared about the quality of their work and the finished product.
Dane was in regular communication throughout the project on scheduling, status, and updates. The entire team was committed to all finishing work once the project was nearing completion and ensuring we were completely satisfied with the final product.
Needless the say we are very satisfied and would highly recommend Sea Pointe to anyone considering a design and remodel project! We know we will on all of our future projects.

We have done a number of home improvement projects over the years. In this case we renovated two bathrooms in our home. Our experience with Sea Pointe was among the best. From the start, we found everyone to be very professional. The design team of Cynthia and Robert offered good ideas and were mindful of managing the budget. The field team led by Project Manager Jim Matthews were punctual and a pleasure to work with. They took great care to protect our home from dust and any potential damage as our project was on two floors of our home. The quality of the work performed by Pat, David and Jack was top-notch. They were very good at soliciting our opinion on various aspects of the project so that things were done right the first time. Without hesitation, they addressed any issues that we saw as the work progressed. We were also impressed with Erik and Shane who did the cabinet work for our project. Sea Pointe also handled the permitting process and inspections with the city without a hitch. I think you will find Sea Pointe is not the least expensive option, but we felt the investment we made paid returns in quality, ease of conducting the project and getting the work done in a timely way. Above all, the people were worked with were professional and just nice people who were in our home every day for the time it took to complete the work. We would recommend Sea Pointe Construction to anyone considering a home construction project or renovation.

My husband and I recently completed a major remodel with SeaPointe and enthusiastically recommend this company. We purchased an older home in dire need of updating. Additionally, we needed to have the kitchen and master bath be accessible for someone using a wheelchair.
Our original plan was to redo the kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Quickly we realized that we needed to do more. We took out walls and pillars, raised ceilings, remodeled the fireplace and installed new doors. Along the way we discovered that we needed to replace the drainpipes through out the house, as well as upgrading the electric panel.
Our designer Robert was a miracle worker. He took our often half baked ideas about what we wanted and created a well thought out cohesive plan. The number of decisions that have to be made in a remodel of this size is daunting. Robert spaced out our design sessions so that we were never overwhelmed. We came to rely on his suggestions as he quickly understood what we were likely to prefer. He was there for us during the entire process which greatly reduced any anxiety we were feeling.
Before construction began, the project was gotten started by our project planner Mike. Bryce did the site measurements and coordinated the electric panel upgrade. Jennie helped us select the many fixtures we needed especially lights and mirrors.
The construction phase was was in the extremely capable hands of our project manager, Jim.
Jim kept the project on track even with unexpected developments such as the drainpipe replacement requiring huge trenches thru the house and yard and the front door breaking and needing to be replaced. Neighbors commented that there was always someone working. That was Jim, shifting the schedule so any delays were minimal. Jim also improved our project with thoughtful suggestions such as moving the site of the electrical panel. He responded quickly to any questions or concerns and kept us informed of progress with weekly emails. Working with Jim was so easy, he smoothly took care of small problems before they grew larger.
Erik, John and Shane did a great job of installing all of the cabinetry. 3 different heights in the kitchen, 2 in the master bath and cutouts for wheelchair access required many adjustments. They were done thoughtfully and well. John made the custom maple trim for our exhaust hood fit perfectly and look just as I wanted it.
Jack, Pat and David were here so often and doing so much. It seemed like Jack was here every time we came by, always working hard. He took great care of us, making sure the entryway was accessible after the plumbing trenching was finished. the subcontractors SeaPointe used were excellent. The electricians, painters and plumbers were experienced and did qualify work. The attention to detail for installation of baseboards and tile was exceptional.
We couldn’t be happier with our decision to use SeaPointe. It is a quality company with great employees, and they stand behind their work.

I would like to first start by stating this just might have been my most pleasant experience working with contractors/skilled trades workers ever. From the exceptional communication to the way everything came together in the end, I am so thankful I found Sea Pointe for our bathroom remodel.
We have a family, so our time is precious, and communication and expectation setting is crucial to help us manuever this precious time. Our project manager, Dane, was exceptional in this respect. We appreciated the weekly Friday emails detailing what work was done that week, and what work was on the slate for the following week, and any other pertinent ETAs. He would stop by routinely to check in on the work, and on us. Furthermore, he eagerly would see to it that any little detail that we cared about was executed to our liking.
Similarly, our designer, James, was prepared each time with options curated from "inspiration" photos we sent. This made our design meetings feel much more pleasant and efficient. And as much as you can prepare a design, there will be hidden things about your house once you start opening up walls etc that will prevent certain design elements to be excecuted. James was always there, physically coming to the house, to lend his expertise as to how to tackle these unexpected quirks while maintaining the integrity of our planned design.
Lastly, price. Sea Pointe easily was the highest cost bid we obtained, but you get what you pay for. The materials and finishes were top notch. The level of project coordination they provide (and de-burden you from) is top notch. These guys are a well-oiled machine! Something you do not often experience with home improvement contractors/trades people. I cannot say enough how pleased we were with this element. And time is money, so we absolutely will be using them again for future remodels.

Our approach to the Design Phase of a Whole Home Remodel includes working with full dedicated teams including a Designer, Architect, Engineer, and Planning teams. At Sea Pointe, we design your space plans to your priorities and tailor your design to your wants and needs that fit your everyday lifestyle. After our Designer looks at your physical space at the initial complimentary consultation, you are then welcome to our design showroom located in Irvine for a second meeting, where we will kick off your Design Phase. During this meeting, you will be presented with a ballpark range of cost for the overall project and after choosing to move forward, you will pay a Design Fee to begin the design process.
This is when the FUN begins! Next, during your design meetings, your dedicated Designer will guide you through the process of structural options of your new space, if the Whole Home Remodel includes any structural changes. Or if there are no structural changes, you will proceed to select your desired cabinetry, countertops, backsplash tile, flooring, and fixtures. Our Designers at Sea Pointe are experts in material selection and will show you the most effective materials for each space, as certain materials are better used indoors versus outdoors, or tile that is okay to use in your showers, etc. At the end of the day, the decision on your materials is yours!
